Emergency Preparedness

To maintain the resiliency of a community, it is necessary to establish an effective and coordinated approach and response to help minimize the negative effects of any type of potential disaster. In Charbonneau, the Community Safety Coordinator and Emergency Preparedness/Public Safety (EPPS) committee have the responsibility of working with all Charbonneau homeowner associations (HOA’s) to achieve this goal. Basic information about emergency preparedness and the first steps to take both in your own home and in your neighborhood are highlighted here. A “staying Safe” booklet is available through your HOA.

REMEMBER: In a disaster, your most immediate source of help are the neighbors living around you.
