Cypress Auxiliary Branch
Boys & Girls Aid Society of Oregon

Boys and Girls Aid Society was founded in 1885 and has a stated purpose of improving the condition of the homeless, neglected and abused children of the State of Oregon.  The Cypress Auxiliary in Charbonneau has a membership of approximately 70 whose main focus is on raising funds for the many programs; however, recently they are having some hands-on activities such as preparing and serving dinner and having craft sessions at a home for teenage girls. The main fundraiser is a Crab and Rib Dinner & Silent Auction in March.  The auxiliary meets most months for lunch on the third Friday at Spring Ridge.

Charbonneau Arts Association

Charbonneau Arts Association (CAA) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and showcasing art and music to the public.  Most artwork and artisan creations are for sale and net proceeds from the Silent Auction and sponsorships support the art programs at Canby and Wilsonville High Schools.  For the past 38 years, the Charbonneau Festival of the Arts has taken over the Clubhouse for a weekend in the Fall. In 2022, the festival moves to June 3, 4, & 5  and takes over the Clubhouse, new Activities Building and outdoor covered Pavilion. Artists from Wilsonville & Canby High Schools are joined by artists and musicians from Charbonneau and throughout the Northwest. In 2022, grant support has also been provided by the City of Wilsonville  and Clackamas County Arts and Culture Council. For more information, contact Cathi McLain at, President of CAA.

Charbonneau Sunshine Service

The Sunshine Service is an organization of Charbonneau volunteers, in partnership with the Wilsonville Community Center, that loans home and sickroom equipment to our residents.   You may call any of the volunteers listed on page 43 in your Charbonneau Directory when you need equipment or would like to return or donate equipment.

Charbonneau Ladies Nine-Hole Golfers

If you’re new to Charbonneau, new to golf – either or both – or you just do not have time for an 18-hole round, you may want to consider the Charbonneau Ladies’ Nine-Hole Golf Association.

Also referred to as the “Niners”, we play nine holes of golf as a group every Tuesday morning from the first week in April through the last week of October. The “Niners” have their own very popular dance team and social memberships to the “Niners” are available.

Charbonneau Men’s Club

The Charbonneau Men’s Club is all about organizing GOLF events for its more than 250 members.  The club welcomes members from Charbonneau and the surrounding communities. From March through October club members enjoy a block of tee times several times a week, often followed social events. The Men’s Club schedules times for both 18 hole and 9 hole groups.  The highlights of the season are monthly major tournaments as well as couples events on the major holidays.  Check out the website (LINK), where you can get information on how to JOIN this active group.

Charbonneau Women’s Golf Association (CWGA)

If CWGA members play 18 holes of golf as a group every Thursday morning from April through October. The first Thursday of the month is a shotgun scramble followed by a lunch in the club house. Special events, tournaments and social gatherings are held during the season.

Charbonneau Women’s Association (CWA)

The Charbonneau Women’s Association (CWA) is a social, community-based organization that strives to create an atmosphere of camaraderie, entertainment and educational opportunities for its members.  The Association supports the local community by providing charitable contributions to the Charbonneau Country Club and other non-profit organizations in the surrounding area.

Wilsonville Garden Club

The garden club was organized in 1956 and incorporated in 1961. They are a nonprofit, tax exempt group under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Wilsonville Garden Club is a member of the Clackamas District of the Oregon State Federation of Garden Clubs which is a member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc.

Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month unless otherwise noted. See our more about our schedule on our website.  The Wilsonville Garden Club hosts the annual holiday swag show.  Check out their calendar for details.
