Charbonneau is a planned-unit development with a 27-hole golf course, tennis club, commercial/business center, restaurant, and a variety of recreational facilities.

The association encompasses over 1600 residential homes, including single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes, an assisted-living center, and apartments.

Throughout the years, residents have organized various clubs and organizations, CCC holds a number of social events each year including jazz concerts, theatrical events, wine-tastings, and other entertainment for residents.
