The Charbonneau Community is cordially invited to attend the unveiling of the sculpture of Sacajawea and the namesake of our community, John Baptiste Charbonneau (nicknamed “Pomp”).
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Rose Ann Abrahamson, Agai-Dika, familial descendant of Sacajawea, representing indigenous people and all women around the world who have demonstrated undaunted courage and memorable history and exemplified their own resilience and strength. She will be accompanied by family members who will celebrate with music and singing, accompanied by a flute and drums.
SPECIAL GUEST: Agnes Vincen Talbot, the sculptor of Sacajawea and Son, will be honored.
