    Location: Garden Terrace
    Details:
Dog “Paw-tee” on September 24Charbonneau dog owners “begged” for another dog event this year so, rather than “land in the dog house,” we have planned a special affair for all dog lovers.Come to the Garden Terrace on Sunday, September 24, beginning at 11 am, to socialize with other dog owners at the dog “paw-tee” and walk your dog in a doggie parade (costumes optional). Randy & Kim McCauley, new to CCC’s approved catering list, will be serving up a delicious catered lunch for just $10. RSVPs for lunch are helpful but not necessary. The fun dog-themed menu includes: Chew bones (spare ribs) with Hound’s 57 Sauce, Boston Terrier Beans, Chow Slaw, Hush Puppies, and Pug Cake for dessert. Beverages are included with lunch but will also be available ala carte for 50 cents: Puppy greyhound (lemonade), St. Bernard Drool (iced tea) and bottled water. Our focus for this event will be on dogs that need forever homes. Come and meet the adoptable dogs and talk to the folks from Oregon Dog Rescue for information on how easy it is to adopt a loving companion. Folks who have “rescued” dogs will tell you that their new pet has really “rescued” them.If you would like to register your dog for this event, stop by the Country Club office during office hours to pick up a registration form and sign-up your canine companion to join in the fun. The registration fee is $10 per dog with a portion of the proceeds going to Oregon Dog Rescue. Please note: A non-retractable leash and proof of rabies vaccination is required. We will not be judging the dogs or giving out prizes. Even so, rumor has it we will have plenty of dog treats on hand. In addition, Blue Door Veterinary Services will be on hand with their mobile vet truck to give tours and free pet dental exams. You know your dog is special so this is your opportunity to show-off your beloved pet. Charbonneau Villager Editor Cindy Garrison is looking forward to taking a lot of pictures at the event so don’t be surprised if your dog lands on the pages of The Villager newspaper. Groomers get ready – Charbonneau dogs will be headed your way soon!Remember, you don’t have to own a dog to attend this Dog “Paw-tee.” Come, Sit and Stay
